Suddenly I am in front of the lights
Everything, I'm feelin'
Scary and beautiful at the same time
And every day, I try just to breathe
I want to show the whole world
The truth inside of me

Suddenly, people know my name
Suddenly, everything has changed
Suddenly, I feel so alive
In the blink of an eye
My dreams begin to rain

Suddenly, time feels like the wind
It changes everywhere I go
I'm just trying to fit in
Now here I stand
And I'm still just that girl
I'm following my heart
In this amazing crazy world

Suddenly, people know my name
Suddenly, everything has changed
Suddenly, I feel so alive
In an blink of an eye

Suddenly, I am center stage
Suddenly, I am not afraid
Suddenly, I believe again
In a blink of an eye
It's happening now

As my dreams begin to rain
I wanna say love me for me
What's inside
I wanna be positive, not run away, so much for you
This is life

Suddenly, I am center stage
Suddenly, I am not afraid
Suddenly, I believe again
In the blink of an eye

My dreams begin to rain

this is basicly how her life has changed after high school musical and things. And just how people think that shes this big star but shes saying "no, i'm still that same girl!" This is also saying how what shes doing is what she lives for and how this was what shes ment to be doing.

I like the place after the second chorus where the lyrics is sentences from the other songs on the album! Brilliant ;) I also think the song is about how her life has changed and that she has reached her dreams. Everytime i hear this song I think of all the tings I wanna achieve. . .

    My Interpretation

I think she's saying how even though she has reached her goals and she's needed it to the spotlight, she's still the same girl. And even though everyone knows who she is now, she will still be the same person we all knew before.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"
