Tme it goes and goes
Until it won't come back no more
Spend it, waste it
Invest it, chase it
Till you're holding onto
A two-edged sword

And you just don't know
If you can do it anymore

And love's your victory march
All these golden eggs for sale
Random opportunities spent
You've got the cash but there's no sale
And your mirror is a vulture
Red-eyed, and its, slurring your name

Yeah but you just don't know
How to do it

Highways multiply
Insects copulate
Details are on fire
Instinct disproves fate
And a password is your currency
Point of sale
But yeah, you just don't know

Yeah, you just don't know
How to do it

General CommentI can't believe that no-one has added a comment to one of the best bands in the world at the minute. This song was written during the mixing session for their album "Come Across". The riff for this song is lifted from The Stooges' "TV Eye". The band say that the objective was for an authentic soul sound and the rock-meets-free jazz feel of The Stooges album, "Fun House".
