No need to translate,
'cause my eyes give me away,
Even though my lips don't say

This should be so easy,
But my head gets in the way,
All the things that I want to tell you.

You're the most perfect yet,
Most definitely that i've met,
And I wonder if you know that's how I feel about you.
I hope you know

'cause I have so much love for you.
Do with it what you will
And I have nothing more to prove,
Say to me what you will
Say, say it again.

Not enough lovers in life to go around
But there's you and me,
If we don't start it out mmmm
It's not hard to let go
Enough to let me in.
If it's meant to be,
It can only be good.

You're the most perfect fit,
Most definitely that i've met,
And I hope that you feel the same way too
About me just let me know

'cause I have so much love for you,
Do with it what you will
And I have nothing more to prove.
Say to me what you will
Say, say it again

Can you take it from me?
If I give, can you receive?
I'm reaching out,
Giving everything.
I give you my heart, I give you my soul,
I give you it all

'cause I have so much love for you,
Do with it what you will
And I have nothing more to prove.
Say to me what you will
Say, say it again

She's in love with him, and she's finally admitting it to herself and him. She loves him so much that whether or not it's requited, she will have those feelings. She hopes he feels the same way, but if he doesn't, it changes nothing for her. Based on the upbeat melody though, I'm guessing he loves her, too. It's just so perfect. Mmmm love this song. Another thing - my wonderful boyfriend isn't always one to share his feelings, and I'm the world's biggest sap. I will always be telling how much I care, and he just smiles and/or kisses me on the forehead. But because of just how much he means to me, it doesn't matter. I have so much love for him, and he can do with it what he will.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
