A bell rings
The sky is falling
A fire in the boss’s office
I’m starting a brand new life

Smoked out
Started walking westbound
There with the fast cars
And the rain beating down
Freedom, it’s good to know you
It’s good to know you

Mr. Bones, I’m not running in place anymore
Mr. Bones, I’m leaving this time for good don’t you know
Mr. Bones, I’m not running in place anymore
So you can leave me alone

I’m leaving
The safe and sounds now
And I’m breathing all the better air in
I’m dreaming of being something someone sees
I’m stuck inside the eye of the storm
I don’t have a care in the world

Mr. Bones, I’m not running in place anymore
Mr. Bones, I’m leaving this time for good don’t you know
Mr. Bones, I’m not running in place anymore
So you can leave me alone

Oh, now keep the engine running
See I’ll only be a minute
You know I love goodbyes

Mr. Bones, I’m not running in place anymore
Mr. Bones, I’m leaving this time for good don’t you know
Mr. Bones, I’m not running in place anymore
Leave me alone

I’m passing all the open windows
I’m passing all the open windows
I am passing all the open windows

General CommentAn old Brotherhood of Lost Dogs song. It's allegedly about, or influenced by the movie "Office Space." It's all about freedom from a life that was restrictive or unsatisfying, and the hunt for something better.
