This cool creative crayon image staring back at me,
these pastel papers mesh mirage of things I wish could be.

Conclude this continuous chaos,
A puzzle of glamorous confusion,
Bit by bit, with spirit and strength,
Column and row of disorientation,

A pool of apologies, anger and hatred swell.
Empty escalation of enamored odium,
An alluring abscess awaiting amplification,
Bent inward a collapsing conundrum,

As sand in glass, it falls from our grasp,
With each passing moment, the next day follows,
Our own existence revolves around it,
The seer inside of our fate so hollow,

Change may seem the only constant,
To go back is an impracticality,
It has shown through day and night,
Only time knows the true reality.

Time will tell.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
