My decent is the story of everyman
I am hatred, darkness and despair
My decent is the story of everyman
I am hatred, darkness and despair

Evoked and entertained through centuries
Wrathful and sullen--dormant still
The ferocity pervades everywhere
Waiting to be released at last

Hear my offering
Ye bastard sons and daughters
Share my sacrifice
Share my sacrifice

My decent is the story of everyman
I am hatred, darkness and despair
My decent is the story of everyman
I am hatred, darkness and despair

My decent is the story of everyman
My decent is the story of everyman
I am hatred, darkness and despair
My decent is the story of everyman
I am hatred, darkness and despair

Reconcile not with the fear of the snake
But embrace it as your own
Inject it's venom into your veins
And replant the seed that gives growth
Still shrouded in mystery
Until you arise above perception
A veil of ignorance is in motion
Continuing throughout generations

A veil of ignorance is in motion
Continuing throughout multiple generations
Let me be the one that deliver you from the deceit
And back into perfect accordance with the laws of nature

The snake is notoriously tempting
But the snake is fair
What is worse than not knowing?
To live or disappear?

The ferocity pervades everywhere
Waiting to be released at last

Hear my offering
Ye bastard sons and daughters
Share my sacrifice
Share my sacrifice

    General Comment

I was bored but I feel I should clarify some stuff cause there is a lot of misdirection in the comments' section and many false or biased information.

First, let's say this. Satanism isn't the LaVeyan "Satanism" the "Satanic Bible" is not indeed a or the Satanic Bible, Satanism is not about murder, death, exacting vengenace, agression etc. Most people get confused with this part cause they have heard at least one in their lives about those Satanists that sacrifice babies or women or men, or seen on tv "satanists" burning down churches. All of the above are completely fabricated generalizations and lies. Let's put it this way, if somebody is mad enough to think that a deity above him good or bad is gonna be pleased if he kills some babies or rapes a woman he is seriously mentally deranged. Take that Breivik guy for example, he thought he was acting as a Templar under the command of God and he killed so many people. These idiots are bat shit crazy people that assume the identity of a christian, of a satanist or even a football club fan in order to do their shit they would've done it even if they had no group at all. Secondly, the church burnings in Norway weren't of Satanic origins. There were a result of a depressed and opressed youth of people who in their 14-20s made small groups that lead to an uprising of "rebel against the system" under th flag of "Satan" as an adversarial figure. It had nothing to do with Satanism as a philosophy or a way of expression. Dont forget that Christians in the Medieval years destroyed half of the Ancient Greek Temples, Libraries, "Monasteries" etc. and that was about religion and traditionality extinction.

Now let's explain some words and definitions.

    1) Serpent = ancient symbol of BOTH good and evil, in some cultures such as in the ancient Minoan it was considered sacred and a symbol of fertility, health and prosperity

2)Tree of Knowledge = The tree God didn't allow Adam and Eve to eat from. They lived in total ignorance with empty minds like walking "zombies" let's say. There was no intelligence as there wasn't a critical ability that would be a medium to take a descision.

3)Lucifer = The Bringer of Light , The Morning Star, Venus' depiction in Christianity. He was the 1st and most Excellent of the Archangels. Despite the fact that he brought the literal Light each morning he brought the "Enlightenment" to humanity by offering them the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, so that they could understand, comprehend and gain intelligence. When he did that, as it is widely known, he assumed the form of a Serpent.

4)Descent = Isaiah in 14:12 is mourning for the "fall" of Lucifer "....How art thou fallen from heaven, O Morning - Star, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the Ground; the one that weakened the nations..." According to the holy texts o Christianity there is no place called Hell and there is no man deity entity that is called "Satan". Lucifer aka Helel - Ben - Sachar (Lucifer the Shining One) fell on EARTH together with Adam and Eve. That was His punishment. The part that he weakened the nations I believe requires no explanation. After Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge and made them selves dynamically Gods when and if they reached the Devine Enlightenment, they were cast on Earth for Adam to Work to feed himself and his wife and Eve to pass great Pain tests when giving Birth.

5)Lucifer, like any Son, who has done or thinks he has done nothing wrong, is cast on the ground and looses his total devine identity. Would you be happy in his place? For example, you saw your Father have two slaves in the basement, that have lived there all their lives, in total ignorance about what is out of that basement and you decided to ask them if they want to be freed, and they wanted, and you showed them the way, and then your Father disvows you and casts you away, would you be happy about that? Lucifer falling on earth, feels and gains the face of Hate, Darkness and Dispair. Hate towards his supposed to be benevolent Father, Darkness as he looses his "Shine" and Dispair as he understands that universe will always work in a faulty circle as long as the Demiurgic (Creator) deity has the control.

So His "descent" (fall), is the story of every man (all men are supposed to come from Adam and Eve). He is hate, darkness and dispair.

He has still the feeling of his fathers betrayal but he is entertained by humanity's potential, as he is here on earth for many centuries. The ferocity has covered the planet and the vast majority of humanity driving the spirit of Man arogantly towards the goal of Theosis, becoming God, achieving Devinity through constant Enlightenmental procedures. And it's waiting to be released at last. This means that Humanity is a total "Work in Progress" of Lucifer and our awakening. When this project will come to an end, it will be the end of God as people will be Gods, and Lucifer will gain his devine status again.

    6) Hear my offering / Ye bastard sons and daughters / Share my sacrifice /Share my sacrifice. This can have a dual meaning. Firstly, he can contemplate the fact that we are now seen (in Gods eyes) by God, bastard sons and daughters, that people can appreciate but never actually love (since we chose Lucifer over Him), and he asks us to share his sacrifice, to fight till our dying breath for personal and collective Enlightenment in order, as a collective to Ascend to the aforementioned Devine status, and overthrow God , Humanity together with Lucifer. Secondly, there are theories that claim that Christ, is Lucifer Himself and that can be backed up with some serious hints that are hidden through the Christianic Holy Texts. We saw above the mourning of Isaiah, he calls Lucifer the Morning - Star. Let's see what Jesus says about Himself. Revelation 22:16: "..."I, Jesus, have sent my Angel to give you this message for the churches. I am both the root kin of David and the heir to his throne. I am the bright Morning Star." So Jesus claims that yeah he sent his angel bla bla (which angel you can ask yourselves) but the most obvious part is this. "I AM THE ROOT (KIN) OF DAVID)", how can someone who lived almost 1000 years later be the KIN of a man that has lived that long ago. That seriously implies that Jesus has been here FAR BEFORE than circa 0 BC-AD, and the most important "I AM THE BRIGHT MORNING STAR". He literally Jesus Himself, calls himself the Morning Star. Moreover, in the Mt. of Olives, Jesus asks his Father , Mathew 27:46 "About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" which translates literally to "Father, Father why have you ABANDONED ME". Jesus actually is mad and feels dispair, darkness and hate towards his father for ABANDONING him, on Earth, with us ungrateful shits. There are numerous other examples that one can scholarly study (ALL IN THE CHRISTIANIC TEXTS) that back up this theory. So for this second theory the Sacrifice of Lucifer is his life He gave to save humanity, that I personally believe was the ultimate test of his Father to see how far He could go for Humanity. He even gave his life, and I do believe that this action made God understand our potential and respect us since his most Excellent and Beloved Son gave his "devine immortality" once and then "his life" to carry us on his back.

    7) We pass to the narator now: "Reconcile not with the fear of the snake But embrace it as your own Inject it's venom into your veins And replant the seed that gives growth"

Don't fear what people that want to control you say to you. Don't fear to exceed your own self beyond your boundaries of what you think is logical and reasonable. Embrace your urge to explore and understand to KNOW to eat the fruits of Knowledge. Inject the "venom" as ancient Greeks used to say the "ασθένια της Γνώσης" the "sickness of Gnosis/Knowledge" the NEED to KNOW the NEED to explore the NEED to understand, embrace it and replant the seeds of SPIRITUAL & MENTAL GROWTH AGAIN.

"Still shrouded in mystery Until you arise above perception A veil of ignorance is in motion Continuing throughout generations"

Still all these things are waiting in "dark places" in the mist and in the darkness keeping their secrets and mysteries hidden. In the darkness of ourselves, Deep inside the spiritual cave we made for ourselves to believe that consumerism, money, success, wealth, a beautiful bimbo, fast cars are the meaning of life, all this UNTIL you rise ABOVE your OWN PERCEPTION. Only when you overcome the obstacle that is called Self can you understand and feel your purpose on this material plain.

The veil of ignorance is upon us, on the vast majority of humanity. People haven't sat down to understand the basic of Science, Theology, Philosophy, Psychology, Occultism, Traditionalism etc. the System wants it that way and control will be upon us for many generations.

"Let me be the one that deliver you from the deceit And back into perfect accordance with the laws of nature"

Lucifer and the narrator become one as there is no actual Lucifer and all there is is our need as people to highten our senses, our perception our mental capacity our INNER SELF and our HIGHERSELF is speaking again and saying to us, let me show you the proper path, to take you out of this shithole where everything worshiped is the material and the ununique of this fabricated reality by the System, with it's laws and small windows on them making people robots and zombies forcing them back to the unholy ignorant of the "Heavens". Our Inner Self calls out and asks us to trust him so that he can show us the way back to the only law we should follow which is Natural Law. I wouldn't like to spoil what NL actually is, and I wouldn't like to tell off some Secrets people must Work to be worthy of. I urge you though to study and understand what it is.

Our Inner Self continues: "The snake is notoriously tempting / But the snake is fair What is worse than not knowing? / To live or disappear?

We all know that the "snake" as it is depicted in the Bible is notoriously tempting. But the "snake" is fair, that I believe means both beautiful, but first and foremost JUST (as in Justice). After all , our Inner Self wonders, what is worse than not knowing? is there actually something worse than that? and continues to say To live? To live and fight, to live and continue fighting the fight most of humans are against you? To live and love, to live and know to live and explore in order to fight your way up to theosis? Or to perish like the most of ignorants that will never complete their Circle.

So i am asking you, what is it worse?

My decent is the story of everyman I am hatred, darkness and despair

πάντα γὰρ τὸ πῦρ ἐπελθὸν κρινεῖ καὶ καταλήψεται

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Bron-Y-Aur Stomp
Led Zeppelin
This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
