I've seen you falling in and out of things
Your heart heats up
Your heart gets cold
Lights up and yearns again
What's your story
I don't want flash or glory
Then the crash
The what was that
And why'd I fall so fast

Slow down
We've got time
I need to know
That you're all mine

Have you got love to burn
Kisses for days
Don't you wanna grab onto something real and never let it get away
I don't have love to burn
Time to waste
Cause I've waited far too for the spark to become a flame
And if it comes true
I'd only have love to burn for you

I can live without you happy by myself
But you get to me
You make me feel like there is no one else
What cha doing
Leaving hearts in ruins
Can't you see
For us to be that just wont fly with me

Slow down
Let's get it right
Make it last
Let's start tonight

Have you got love to burn
Kisses for days
Don't you wanna grab onto something real and never let it get away
I don't have love to burn
Time to waste
Cause I've waited for to long for the spark to become a flame
And if it comes true
I'd only have love to burn for you

I see you through
If I were sure you'd feel this way for me
It's gotta be much more than anything we say
For love to ever last
I need to know it's not just touch and go
That you are here to stay
Here to stay
That you are here to stay

Have you got love to burn
Kisses for days
Tonight we won't let anything get in our way

Have you got love to burn
Kisses for days
Don't you wanna grab onto something real and never let it get away
I don't have love to burn
Time to waste
Cause I've waited for to long for the spark to become a flame
And if it comes true
I'd only have love to burn for you

I'm not sure i have the meaning right, but i think this song was meant for someones she's fallen for, but doesn't yet have.

Have you got love to burn Kisses for days (i thnk this is her way of asking do you like me? do you want to spend your time being with me?) Don't you wanna grab onto something real and never let it get away (this is like why pass me up when i'm here, when im realy. this is love) I don't have love to burn Time to waste Cause I've waited far too for the spark to become a flame (she's waited too long to speak up about how she's felt) And if it comes true I'd only have love to burn for you (and if by some chance they got together, she'd only love him.)

I haven't actually heard the song but I bought it just recently. I think the song means that she really likes this guy but she's getting tired of waiting for him. Even though that is the case, she still will always love him.

ok people so for me this song means that she is talkin to this guy she likes and the guy apparently likes her back but he just wants to hook up with her and she wants commitment; she is saying this guy is moving too quickly and she wants to wait because she is not sure about him being with her formally later on "whats your story i dont want a flash of glory then the crash the what was that and why did i fall so fast" she's saying she doesn't want to hook up with him like to have a one night stand and then feel bad about what she did because the guy wont be there for her seriously after that night "i need to know its not just touch and go , that u are here to stay" proves my point too.... im pretty sure it is about that sorry for my boldness lol

to me...i think this song about her being tired and impatient. its obvious she is feelin for the guy and by saying she only has love to burn for him, is that she only wants to love him. and she doesnt have love to burn or time to waste for anyone else. she knows where her priority is but she knows that they have had something and wants it to be the more that it can be....it kind of reminds me of myself a little but not....i just think that she wants a long term things not a hit it and quit it

So if anyone has ever watched this show you would know that Tommy (her producer) wrote this song for her to sing on her birthday. Honestly I believe its from his perspective. Because they played this back and forth game of being in love and she was too young for him, he dated her sister, she dated other guys. He gives this to her as a gift on her 18th birthday when they can finally be together. It obviously works from her point of view as well because they've both gone through so much to finally be with one another.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
