This insecure state...a constant struggle
There's someone inside you staring back at me
Is it this sleepy town, or is it just me?
Is it just me?
Is it just me?

I'm choking myself inside these walls
A never-ending road as never-ending as me
Is it these concrete walls, or is it just me?
Is it this sleepy town, or is it just me?
Is it just me?
Is it just me?
Is it just me?
Is it just me?
Is it this sleepy town?
Is it these concrete walls?

My InterpretationI take it as being that the narrator is like a "sleepy town". That is their mind is relatively closed and quiet on matters outside of their direct surroundings. It is now however starting to dawn on the narrator (the sleepy town) that perhaps there is more to life and the world than themselves.

The repeating of the lines "Is it just me?" makes me thinks they are questioning is it just them that hasn't realised the greater world out there, OR conversely is it them who has been sleeping for so long?
