Got no place to run
Got no place to hide
Sittin' at the railway station
destination far behind, behind
Lived my life for love
Love that's hard to find
Some are givers, I'm a taker
Love can make you blind
Make you blind

Got no time to lose
Time you just can't find
Give a dozen yesterday's
To make tomorrow mine
Make it mine

Got one life to live
That just borrow time
Don't close or blink your eyes
You lose your chance to fly
Chance to fly

Got no place to run
Got no place to hide
Sittin' at the railway station
Destination far behind, behind

Lived my life for love
Love that's hard to find
Some are givers, I'm a taker
Love can make you blind
Make you blind

General CommentThis is Joe Perry's work in his his brief time away from Aerosmith in the 80s. He released a few albums then went back. This song's on Aerosmith's Pandora's Box box-set

General CommentFrom the liner notes to Pandora's Box - "Me still insisting I can sing" - Joe Perry

I'm glad he did a solo project and this little gem surfaced. It's a sort of window as to who is (semi)responsible for what sounds within the band. Another groovy soulful number that has a permanent place on my list of adrenaline inducing tunes. Thanks Joe.
