This is one of my favorite songs. https://fnfgo.io
They've been saying this all a while
I'm a mess, you're a file
They've been saving this small exchange
I'm a mess, you're a file
Because the way, the way things travel
Because the waves will alter them in flight
Is that the way, the way things used to?
Still unresolved, but underneath there lies with you
They're still with you.
Soft as leaves in the night
They can please their own children
They control their own lives
I can be so resourceful
They've been playing that song again
I'm a spark, you're a wire
They're shaving it close again
I'm a spark, you're a wire
'Cause of the weight, the label's useful
So incorrect, but maybe there's
Still something breathing
Hopeless
Breathing
Severed by hollow flight
There can be many options
They can be somewhat right
Possibly some arrangement
I'll just wait and you'll be fine
All this way, and still December (x4)

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday".
I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
Plastic Bag

Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it.
“I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
I'm not really surprised that no one commented on Rob Crow because no one knows who he is, but this guy's a genius. He's also the lead singer of Pinback, which is a great job.
And this song specifically is beautiful. Great job, Rob, it's a tragedy more people don't know who you are.
i agree with you completely, Stranded
that's word...rob and pinback make some awesome music.
sometimes i wish his songs were 20 minutes long.. like this one.
GOD. This song is so perfect. I love Pinback and Crow. This whole album is great. I wish more people knew about Rob.
If you like this album you should hear My room is a Mess! NOw that is a great albumn. I also like Lactose Adept. It just a bunch of like 10 second songs with a few couple minute tunes. He is very talented. Hes been doing this stuff for like 20 years! LIsten to Thingy, or Optigonally Yours, Heavy Vegetable. These bands were around in the 90's and unless you were into more underground DIY music you wouldnt know it. IM just glad that the music industry has changed and more people are recognizing Do-it-yourself Style. Cheers!
