"Pioneers" as written by Brian Mcternan, Francis Mark, Joshua C Newton and Brian Deneeve....
Dismiss the telegram
This is no exhibition
A pile of papers that are bound and tethered
We know the end of man will stem
From stale tradition
Relaying opinions
Changing like the weather

And this will never be and this will never be reversed
An installation
Sending an open invitation
To all the pioneers driven by suspicion
The old world is gone and
We keep wishing for a new frontier
Out of their teeth and bones
Forget what you thought you believed in

The plans we execute are far between and few
But I'll go around the world just for something to do
Existence is fleeting
You spend your life dreaming
The shores are exhausted
The time is receding

And this will never be a
And this will never be reversed
An installation
Sending an open invitation
To all the pioneers driven by suspicion
The old world is gone
And we keep wishing for a new frontier
To sink our teeth in
And forget what you thought you believed in

And those who resisted
Were dragged out form there homes
This necklace was fashioned from their teeth and bones
And those who resisted
Were dragged out from their homes
This necklace was fashioned from their teeth and bones
Their teeth and bones

To all the pioneers driven by suspicion
The old world is gone and
We keep wishing for a new frontier
To sink our teeth in
And forget what we you thought you believed in

Resistance is fleeting
Resistance is fleeting
Resistance is fleeting
Resistance is fleeting

    General Commentnew album fucking rules
    blows abandon your friends away
the old lead singer was great
but i think that the backup as lead is a good change
just think of him screaming songs like where do you draw the line and yes...even the afterdinner payback
    it depends what your into
not that they would but i think it would be preitty fuckin sick if they re-recoarded some of the old stuff with him screaming on it
but the old singer did do a fuckin awesome job
i just think that it would b cool to hear it

General CommentA pile of parers that are bound and tethered

It's a pile of papers that are bound and tethered. Tethered means to tie together.

I think this song means, besides the obvious. It definitely means a change. It's seriously the best song to end an album.

General Commentfran last night at their show said, and im paraphrasing this, that the song was about dreams that people tell you that you would never achieve, and that you should persue something more stable. he also used to the example of when you're growing up and you say you want to be a rockstar and your teacher tells you that " you better have a back up plan".

General CommentI know this might be a slight stretch, but this song could be about the rock music scene, and it's constantly changing sound. I think it's about them trying to say, "stay real to the music, and don't get too caught up in money and other stuff."

"Relaying opinions changing like the weather".
