"Pity" as written by and Bob/petrillo Crewe....
The end of the world couldn't
Tear me away from this and if
We were the last two people on earth
I would be the happiest man
So drown them all, open the
Floodgates and drown them all
They are the cancer and we are the cure
Lets skip to the last page and
See how it ends, wake up, promise me
You will wake up, you saved my life

And that's all I need, just don't leave me now
Don't quit on me now you are all I have
The world will never stop unless
We make it stop, the sky will never fall
Unless we let it fall, so this is the end
And the world is ours

General CommentGood song. I'd never listened to it before today when I was going to store and my player was just going through The Dead Walk. And this song came on. And I was like "Whoa. This is good."

I think it's written to a girl that Vincent is really in love with, but some tragic happened to her (a coma perhaps?) and he desperately wants her to wake up. He stays by her side and nothing could tear him from her. He would be incrediably happy if he could have only her and no one else. She is everything that he has, everything he needs.

I can definetly relate to that feeling.

I could be wrong about the meaning though.
