(going under)
Yeah!

Doubt has never proven anything
and redemption will never come if the question lives
Hesitation will keep you away

I am finally free from the burden that was slowly drowning me.
How long until you reach the hand that rescued me?
You're going under

There's uncertainty with every choice,
but faith and fear are mutually exclusive.
His assurance will bring our confidence,
and that confidence will bring you home

I am finally free from the burden that was slowly drowning me.
How long until you reach the hand that rescued me?
You're going under

Break free, look up, reach out, hold on tight

I am finally free from the burden that was slowly drowning me.
How long until you reach the hand that rescued me?
You're going under

My InterpretationI really enjoy this song because although I once believed in Christianity, I am now an Atheist, and the key line from the lyrics can be interpreted as apostasy rather than affirmation of faith:

    > I am finally free from the burden that was slowly drowning me.

Believing in the lie of religion is a burden that was slowly drowning me, and now I am finally free.

General CommentThis is one great song, it is all about how things of the world weigh us down, but God will pull us up, ring us out, and be with us forever.
