Ghosts have the best time Patience
I could see that you had a spark
Didn't come on strong, didn't try too hard
You used the stage like a trampoline
Thanks for the clown fish you gave to me

You lit up the night with your sequinned shoes

Ghosts have the best time Patience

I was propping like a meerkat
While you said you'd been bit by bats
So we all smiled at your tattoo
Is that true your mother made you do?
The whole thing had such style
And I aint seen that in a long, long time now

Over skip rope over jump rope baby now
You're really on top of the world
Over skip rope, heart attack, go crazy
You're sitting on top of the world

Ghosts have the best time Patience!

I had the best time too
But oh there's a come down, Patience
Are you?
I feel lucky to know you

General CommentThis song was written about Patience Hodgson (see first line), the singer in the Australia band The Grates. The Panda Band boys went on to become good friends with The Grates, and I believe they've toured together. This song is describing the mad and inspiring way she performs onstage, dancing and singing and involving the audience, and how the Panda Band admire her and the rest of the band.
