Chorus of angels, destroy my silence,
That haunts me, It claims me,
While darkness walks beside me.

I saw the angels sing along to wake up the beautiful sleeping world.
Their voices will rise to test the strength of man.
Wake up the beautiful sleeping world.

We will see the fire.
The skies will open up.
The clouds will burn red and our sins will forget us.
And time will not shake us.
Our hearts are made of gold.
These walls won’t over-take us.
These walls won’t over-take us.

I saw the angels sing along to wake up the beautiful sleeping world.
Their voices will rise to test the strength of man.
Wake up the beautiful sleeping world.

Chorus of angels, destroy my silence,
That haunts me, It claims me,
While darkness walks beside me.

Chorus of angels, lead me in a prayer that will shake the foundations of the earth.
Wake up now.

General CommentAngles cannot save us only Christ can!! But God will send his Angels to wake up the world. The world IS sleeping, many christians today are slumbering...they think they are saved but they desperatly need to continue seeking Christ everday!

General CommentThis is one of my favorite songs ever, this song to me is about how we are all tempted and harassed by the devil every day and in the end our sins will be destroyed and Christs return will be led by the Chorus of Angels...Deep and completely awesome!

General CommentI think this song is about how no one has faith in christ anymore, and everyone is selfish. This song is talking about how the angels will save us all, by waking up the world. Meh, I could be wrong, but that's what I think it means, and this song is just totally amazing, the new CD is fucking amazing.

General CommentTo me its seems to be about the world today. How people need to open their eyes to what is really going on around us. And then we need to stand up and make some changes (test the strength of me)

But like Aaron said, thats just my opinion. And I agree, best HTD album yet.

General Commentthey are talking about in this song about a person, this person has a closed mind to the word. when he says Chorus of angels, destroy my silence,
That haunts me, It claims me,
While darkness walks beside me, he is asking the lord to come into his heart, he is asking the lord to help him and end this silence in his life. good sermon song

General CommentWhat about the Chorus Of Angels announcing the Apocalypse? Already the ambient of the song sounds really apocalyptical to me. Angels will come to test the strength of us.

General Commenti dunno, i think i agree with AutumnInAshes. I think this song has to do with the Apocalypse, in the Book of Revelations cuz the end of the world is caused by a "chorus of angels". It's funny though, cuz this is actually the song that drew me to HTD!

General CommentTotally awesome song! I love it! I think it is talking about someone who has backslidin', and how they need to wake up to Chris and the reality of the world we live in today and what's to come, for their own sake, the sake of the ones they love, and of the very world itself.
