"Aesthetics Of Hate" as written by Philip John Demmel, Adam Duce, Robert Conrad Flynn and Dave Mcclain....
Oh, you tried to spit in the eye of a dead man's face
Attacked the ways of a man not yet in his grave
But your hate was over all too soon
Because nothing is over, nothing's through 'til we bury you

For the love of brother
I will sing this fucking song
Aesthetics of hate
I hope you burn in hell, go

Oh, the words I read on the screen left me fucking sick
I felt the hatred rising, you son of a bitch
You branded us pathetic for our respect
But he made us driven, deep reverence far beyond the rest

For the love of brother
I will sing this fucking words
Aesthetics of hate
I hope you burn in hell

Oh, long live memories
Live his freedom vicariously
Defend tenfold
His honor we'll always uphold

For the love of brother
I will say these fucking words
No silence against ignorance
Iconoclast, I hope you burn, burn in hell

May the hands of God strike them down
May the hand of God strike them down
May the hand of God strike them down
May the hand of God strike them, strike them

May the hands of God strike them down
May the hands of God strike them down
May the hands of God strike them down
May the hands of God strike them

General Comment"Aesthetics Of Hate" is a response to William Grim, who wrote an article on his website, The Iconoclast, titled "AESTHETICS OF HATE: R.I.P. DIMEBAG ABBOTT, & GOOD RIDDANCE", attacking Dimebag Darrell the day he was murdered & attacking the metal community as a whole for paying homage and respect to the slain guitarist. To say that Flynn was angry at Grim is an understatement, but you can't blame him. Flynn looked up to Dimebag as countless metalheads did.

General CommentDude this song rocks! I heard it the first time on MH's myspace. The lyrics are fantastic and Rob is at his finest.

I guess Sonic Raider has summed it up. This guy's pathetic. How dare he attack Dimebag. Why did it take this long for a song to be written about him?

General CommentRoar! I liked this the 1st time I listened to it, then I went back to listening to the new Trivium album and Burn My Eyes, but then I keep listening to it and it keeps getting better, can't wait to get the album! I like the Far Beyond Driven reference, the second half of that album is the greatest ever!!!

General CommentHey Lukey if you want to hear another Dime tribute listen to "Nothing Remains" by Chimaira off their self titled cd. The lyrics are inspired by the tragedy. This song is one of favs off the album as well though, put together well and great lyrics.

General CommentI personally didn't like Dime's style of playing, but I know what a great man he was and how huge of an influence he was to the metal and hard-rock genre. For that, I respect him. Oh, and if you do a google search, you can find several of William Grim's emails and sent hateful remarks to the dumbass who wrote that article. :) Send away, oh defenders of metal! And, to Lukey, if you havn't already, there are at least two tributes to Dime from one of his best friends, Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society. One is "In This River", and the other I know of is "Dirt On The Grave"

General CommentImpresive song. "Nothing Remains" by Chimaira was written when Dimebag got killed but it's not directly about him. Another song about Dime is "Side of a bullet" by Nickelback.

General CommentThis is my favorite MH song off this album. Anyone who doubts MH's ability to make kickass metal needs only to listen to this song. That Iconoclast bastard who wrote that article on Dime and matal fans everywhere deserves the same fate as Nathan Gale(the man who slayed Dime).
Another song similar to this is Hellyeah's "waging war". I haven't found any solid connections, but the lyrics are definitely either about the same guy, or people like him.
