"Cemetery Drive" as written by and Gerard Way Frank Iero....
This night
Walk the dead
In a solitary style and crash the cemetery gates
In the dress your husband hates
Lay down
Mark the grave
Where the searchlights find us drinking by the mausoleum door
And they found you on the bathroom floor

I miss you
I miss you so far
And the collision of your kiss that made it so hard

Back home off the run
Singing songs that make you slit your wrists
It isn't that much fun
Staring down a loaded gun
So I won't stop dying
Won't stop lying
If you want I'll keep on crying
Did you get what you deserve?
Is this what you always want me for?

I miss you
I miss you so far
And the collision of your kiss that made it so hard

Way Down, way down, way down, way down
Way down, way down, way down, way down

I miss you
I miss you so far
And the collision of your kiss that made it so hard

I miss you
I miss you so far
And the collision of your kiss that made it so hard, made it so hard

Way down, way down, way down, way down
Way down, way down, way down, way down, way down

General Commenti think when Gerard uses the word 'way' in a song he is refering to himself.

General CommentAccording to Disorder magazine, this song is about a girlfriend Gerard Way had in college who committed suicide.

General Commentobviously you could always find someone who'd be pushed by a song to do something stupid, but the majority of listeners just enjoy the song and maybe they even find it comforting... did you ever consider that? :S but seriously though, everyone will say they've gone through shit in their life, it just so happens that some were blessed with the energy to pull themself back up and some weren't... we're not all the same and we're not all as strong as you are or claim to be :\
for example if you were bullied for 8 years, one day finally found a friend and he/she introduced you to drugs, alcohol and the likes, not to mention you've never felt confident any single fucking day of life, you were abused as a child, your dad was an alcoholic who hit you and your mom on a daily basis THEN where on earth does a human being find the inspiration to suddenly get an education and become a so-called 'leader'?

No, that's not my life-story I'm just trying to prove the point that not everyone can help themselves...

General Commentoh dear god, this debate again?
you people really need to find something better to do with your time than tell other people that you think they are s**t.
just get on with your life and dont worry about what other people think.
if everyone agreed and liked the same music the world would be a very tedious place so dont go trying to change people.

General CommentEmpireOfDirt... let people listen to what they want to listen to. This debate has been done thousands and thousands of times. What's the problem with people not listening to the music you like? So what if they're closed minded, I don't see why you should care. I don't listen to band's like MCR or FOB or whatever (I personally prefer mainly black metal or death metal bands) but do you see me flaming the fans on their forums? Find something better to do than sit at home on the net and flame people's music tastes. It's insignificant. It's not going to affect your life in any way. Get over it and get a life.

My InterpretationI think it's from the point of view of someone who was having a sort of friendship-slash-affair with a woman who had a husband who didn't treat her properly, but he (who sings the song) wasn't sure why he liked her so much. He thought he could connect with her in some way, maybe? She committed suicide in her home, and when he found out he became depressed and starting hanging around places like the cemetery and morgue, and thinking about death a lot. He's trying to work out what could've been happening to make everything this way, and he's trying to communicate with her desperately, even though he knows she's gone. I think the song in general is about him considering killing himself because of someone or something else.
