"Casablanca" as written by and Lenny White....
I'm watching the sky turn from black to the grey
and this is the end I know we're not afraid
surrender your hands it's too late to let go
we're still breathing, don't stop breathing
the ground is falling under my feet
we're still around here
we're fading with time
there's no fear, open your eyes
we're standing still now
we're going nowhere
it's not too late to crawl it's not too late to..

Reach the end I'll meet you there
in a world that never let you in
in a world where you found grace
I watched the water pull you in
(as it carries you away)

I know you let me fall on my own
there's no reason to abandon here

Open your eyes and witness the power
of a place that's lost control
his creation at its finest
it's what we call our home

My life passes by as the sky starts to fade
if this is the end I know I'm not afraid
the meaning of this is becoming so clear
prepare for the worst this is going to be hell

I know you won't be there I fall alone
tell me why I am still standing here.

General CommentThis song = amazing. I think it's about an end-of-the-world-type situation, in that it's not actually the end of the world, but the end of A world, like a relationship, or someone close to you dying?
I love the emotion in this line "Open your eyes and witness the power "

So this song is about the end of the world, much like the rest of the album

this band is part christian band, so i think it could be from something about judgement day and the end of the world. but this could be also a referance that he is going to commit suicide, and that hes not afraid to do it...."my life passes by as the sky starts to fade if this is the end i kno im not afraid"

"his creation at its finest" definatly refers to god.
"I know you won't be there I fall alone
tell me why I am still standing here. " kind of shows that the world made be ending and that it might be about breaking up and being alone.
    love this song

they are a christian influence band which leads me to believe that they are talking about when jesus is going to be coming back to earth (Open your eyes and witness the power
of a place that's lost control

General Commentyeah i would agree with the above. this song has references to the end of the world, but at the same time it seems to be about a relationship breakup

The first deep scream part early in the song says:
"I know you wont let fall on my own
There's no reason reason to abandon here"
    While the end scream part:
"I know you wont be there i fall alone
Tell me why i am still standing here", both with the same still, except the first one says the singer believes that his relationship is strong, while the 2nd part he says he will fall on his own, obviously changing his state of mind towards whoever it is being refered to in the song

General Comment"in a world that never let you in" is talking to god
"in a world you found grace" he made us bc he found our beauty

the world is at self destruction (sky black to grey could be atmosphere changes, perhaps nuclear war) and the song is i will fall alone because god wont be there to stop us or save us. He is wonderying why he is still standing here, perhaps god does care?

This is our home, his creation at its finest. i watched the water pull you in..(the water represents his motion, god himself, his presence) he can sense it in nature, or believes it is.

perhaps "the meaning of this is becoming so clear" that it is all going to end in chaos and destruction.. its kinda a battle in his mind of faith i think as well. Is their meaning to life if everything just falls? will he fall alone or with god.

end of the world situation :D very interesting choice of words he uses, keeps me listening. casablanca is also a movie i thought. lol
