This is one of my favorite songs. https://fnfgo.io
she's got this journal filled
with all her black ink guilt
and love is the only thing keeping her alive
she's got her mind made up
that all she needs is love
her heart is the only thing helping her decide
to breathe again, to breathe again
and when she's tired she doesn't sleep
a week since I've seen her eat
She's skin and bones, she's beautiful
no matter what
I wish I could help her see
she means the world to me
But the world, it doesn't mean much to her
I'll be there to split your lips
like when the ice berg hits
and the ship has to break apart
show its teeth and smile
she's got this journal filled
with all her black ink guilt
and love is the only thing keeping her alive
she's got her mind made up
that all she needs is love
and she'll breathe again
and she'll breathe again
and she'll breathe again
she'll breathe again, again

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988.
"'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it."
"There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version.
Great version of a great song,

Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
this is one of my favorite songs. i think its about a girl that was dumped and shes kindof depressed. shes so sad she cant eat or sleep. but she knows she'll fall in love again.
"shes got her mind made up that all she needs is love" my favorite line :)
I think its about a dude beating an anorexic chick "I'll be there to split your lips" and "a week since I've seen her eat She's skin and bones"
i think "ill be there to split your lips" means to kiss her
"This song was written about a good friend of mine who was going through some problems. She had a lot of secrets and a lot more was always hurting her than she would let on. It's the kind of situation where everyone can see it but no one really has the courage to say anything. And she had this logic that was kind of like if you have love than nothing else matters. None of the other problems are really problems. And I thought that was a pretty interesting outlook on life and I wrote this song because of that and sort of as my way to talk to her also."

This song is beautiful. That's really all I can say.
"I'll be there to split your lips" means to make her smile.
I'll be there to split your lips like when the ice berg hits and the ship has to break apart show its teeth and smile
there should be more comments on this song
Ok I first I thought this song was about a friend that was thinking about suicide and just struggling with a lot things but Isn't talking and keeping it bottled up in "this journal filled with all her black ink guilt" and when peole love her she remembers thers a reason to live and not give up. but then I read what Jimmy put in his blog and I wasn't too off but it makes a lot more sense.
I think this song is about a friend who has way too many problems, but thinks if she has love then they will all disapear. This si a beautiful song
