"The Reason" as written by Joseph Nelson, Kevin Stafford and Bryan Cash....
My love will rise

This was a story that was foretold
By a man, a prophecy
He gave his son to us
Gave his son
He died for our sins to be forgiven

This trust I adore
This trust I need some more (All forget this day)
Today I realise
I take everything for granted

Dining at the last supper
Celebrate our togetherness
Knowing of His love and sacrafice
Gave His gifts of faith and remembrance

This trust I adore
This trust I need some more (Punished by destiny)
Today I realise
I take everything for granted

You're the reason
I feel in love with yesterday
You're the reason
I dream tomorrow
You're the reason
I live today
You're the reason...

I'll always think of you!

General CommentThis is such an amazing song! Song is obviously about his love for Jesus and how Jesus gave his life for us, and how the singer(everyone) takes it for granted sometimes.

General Commenti like this song and the band and i think that it is great that he has the guts to write a song like this, but the band also kind of offends me, on the same album there are lyrics like "i'll take you F***ing name all the way to the G** D*** grave" and the fact that they were dropping the F-bomb all over the place at the show i went to. but there not a proclaimed Christian band so i guess i cant expect them to act like one.
