(G. Anselmo, 2007 ChargeUp'd Inc.)

It's getting old, this city
growing weak like spoiled wine
to finally lose it's taste
an interest fading, as i'm driving

Going, oh, so far away
still something grows,
beneath these city lights
i feel me falling apart this time
finally i'll go somewhere
to lose this state of mind

Oooh,
growing on me, weaker
these fading city lights
Oooh,
lost my edge of the world
lost my one world edge tonight

Highest breathing consumes me
and i can't shake away your face
no matter how hard i'd cry
it stays

Oh, now i'm,
growing up so far away
still beneath these city lights
i've been falling apart since this day one
i'm still going somewhere
to lose this state of mind

Oooh,
growing on me, weaker
these fading city lights
Oooh,
lost my edge of the world
lost my one world edge tonight

General Commentthe person in this song describes getting away from both the city that plagues him, as well as the ghosts of the past. he is afraid he will go crazy if he does not rid his mind of all of it, and looks to find someplace safe, both on the inside and outside of him..

General Commentthis was the first single that represented the album "Orange Sun". It was the second lyrically completed of the albums, but the first album to be finished. Likely, it became the one song to really carry the depth of the record.
