"Amelia's Missing" as written by Marcus Hummon and Jonathan Michael Mclaughlin....
I can't find Crazy Horse,
Can't find Hoffa and Amelia's missing somewhere out at sea,
And I hope they're happy,
Havin' a party and Elvis is servin' them up green apple martini's,

I can't find my watch,
I can't find my wallet,
So how in the hell am I supposed to find

The one that I love,
The one that I need,
Hidden so high,
Burried so deep

Well I found odd jobs and I found reasons,
For all kinds of ways I can waste my time,
And I found letters and I found levers
And I found new ways just to tell old lies,

I can't find my watch,
I can't find my wallet,
So how in the hell am I supposed to find

(chrous)
The one that I love,
The one that I need,
Hidden so high,
Burried so deep,

Somewhere to run,
Somewhere to go,
And if I ever find her,
How will I know, how will know

'cause can't find Crazy Horse,
Can't find Hoffa and Amelia's missing somewhere out at sea

General CommentAmelia (Earheart), CrazyHorse, and (Jimmy) Hoffa are all historical figures who disappeared. Amelia Earheart was a famous female pilot who, in an attempt to fly around the world, disappeared somewhere over the Pacific Ocean. Crazy Horse was a Native American chief, and although I don't think he disappeared, there's a lot of controversy over how he died. Jimmy Hoffa was a teamster's union leader who disappeared.
I don't think knowledge of the historical figures adds too much meaning to the song though -- he's trying to find someone to who love/loves him (and is frustrated/overwhelmed at the idea of doing so)

General CommentThe lyric in the second verse is "I found lovers and I found leavers" not letters and levers.

General CommentI think the note about the historical figures kinda refers to how there are fanatics out looking for signs and traces of these figures. When he says "I can't find" kinda refers how he's a fanatic for these people in the same way he is obsessed in looking for his "love". People who spend years or their whole life looking for signs and traces of these historical figures, is how he is towards this "love" of his.

Part where he mentions them having a party, he believes that they are stil out there... so that illudes to the fact that his "love" must be out there too.

the bridge, how he can't find his watch and wallet, shows how he can't find even the simplest things, so how is he able to search for something as elusive as his true love. Watch and wallet also signifies basic necessities... again saying this person he loves is is a basic necessity too.

The verse where he finds odd jobs... shows that he can do things that doesn't matter... but he still can't find the things that DO matter.

Finally, somewhere to run, somewhere to go... he is looking for a direction to be pointed to. Probably due to frustration... but if he does find her, how would he know? Stating how a true love is elusive and hard to find... even if pointed in the right directions.

    my 2 cents
