"Her You and I" as written by Jonathan Basofin, Robert Kallick, David Rothblatt and Darren Spitzer....
You are walking past us, we look outside
at least we are together - her you and I [2x]
Meeting at the crosswalk, standing at one side
there is nothing to it, if you wanna hide
we can always hide. He turns on the camera
how did you get so tall (or dull?)
there's nothing to be afraid of
when you get the call [2x]
I wonder what your name is, we begin to wail
nothing is more lonely - than a broken sail [2x]
You are not an angel, I know what they did
your face is made of glass - Who shattered it? [2x]
You are walking past us, we look outside
at least we are together, her, you and I
Meeting at the crosswalk, standing at one side
there is nothing to it, if you wanna hide
we can always hide. He turns on the camera

When you get the call [2x]

(instrumental)

You are walking past us, we look outside
at least we are together, her, you and I
(repeat to end)

General Commentare you kidding me? the song is called 'her you and i' not 'both you and i.' following that logic, when it's in the song it's 'her you and i.'

in any event, at the very least the singer misses the girl.

'your face is made of glass/who shattered it' might be one of the most brilliant lines written in a very long time.
