hey boy
may i ask you a question?
can you turn away from the fire?
those ashes will follow you home, son
come on
dont' be a coward
is it wrong that I imagine 'death' as 'free'?
as a chance to escape a let go?
one way ticket to hell on your back
with the lips of the devil on your mouth
but i don't want to go
no i don't want to go
but i don't want to go
no i don't want to go down underground
come push the sun down
until it doesn't rise
you know us sad boys
well, we can't stand the light
listen up
i'm gonna tell you a secret
I am made out of water!
killing your friend
in the town where you live in
you know that aint no suicide
can i be brought above to kiss the sky?
to break loose from the roots?
of course you can't
you know heaven's unreachable
when you let your own hand
take you down
but i don't want to go
no i don't want to go
no i don't want to go down underground
come push the sun down
until it doesn't rise
you know us boys
well, we can't stand the light
flames upon the edge of a saint
it's a martyr mistake i know...

It's and angle and a devil fighting over who will take a boy. They just argue back and forth, and the boy just says in the chorus that he simply doesn't want to die at all.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
