"Final Destination" as written by Daniel Bjorn Gibson, Sharon Den Andel and Robert Westerholt....
I escaped my final moment
But it's turning back at me
On every corner I can feel it waiting
Just a moment, no awareness
I could easily slip away
And then I'll be gone forever

I'm searching,
I'm fighting for a way to get through
To turn it away

It's waiting, always trying
I feel the hands of fate, they're suffocating
Tell me what's the reason
Is it all inside my head
Can't take it no more!

All around me I see danger
And it's closing in on me
Every second I can hear it breathing
I can't stand the fear inside me
Cause it's leading me astray
And it will be my ending

I'm searching
I'm fighting for a way to get through
To turn it away

It's waiting, always trying
I feel the hands of fate, they're suffocating
Tell me what's the reason
Is it all inside my head
Can't take it no more!

But no one faced what's coming my way
And I will let my fear fade away
Whatever may be, I'll have to find out

It's waiting, always trying
I feel the hands of fate, they're suffocating
Tell me what's the reason
Is it all inside my head
Can't take it no more

General CommentIt sounds to me that it is inspired by the movie of the same name. The plot of that movie is a teen has a premonition of his airplane exploding, and gets off with a few classmates. Since they were all destined to die but escaped, Death or fate or whatever still wants them. The rest of the movie is them fleeing death but still getting taken one by one by.

General Commentinspired by the movie? yes i think you are right , but the song is not about the movie itself. but yeah its about the basic plot of the movie. feeling death around you breathing down your neck all the time.

maybe not really death but some other negative feeling or thing.

General Commentvery strange movie btw, its really good en really bad at the same time.

hard to explain, its really cool , but it has a ridiculously poor story, but eventhough its really cool

yeah i know that sounds really weird , but thats just how the movies is, bad and good at the same time, you would have to see it to understand what i mean

General CommentBased on the movie yes, but I reckon it's more about modern Western society's fear of, and obsession, with dying. Most cultures in the world accept death as the natural order of things, but not Westerner's - we do everything to deny our own mortality, including doing drastic things to stop the aging process. The thinking seems to be 'if I don't age I won't die'. How sad.

General Commentit can be also about feeling trapped in this world and how fate can feel like suffocating, because so many things happen in life that cannot be explained, that's why she says tell me what's the reason?... can't take it no more?.. she's wondering if it is true about fate and why does she feel fear... her end will be when she stops believing that she can make it in life.. by all the confusion....

General CommentIf I read a story or write a character or see a movie and am especially nispired by a relationship or an idea, I will often place that idea into my poems or lyrics. I think they just liked the *idea* that is the premise of the movie Final Destination, the idea of averting death and having it follow you forever.

General Commentto me its a song about being traped by evil n.w.o. (new world order) evil dudes (cosmics) or demons and how you must escape them or die trying, i'm going to use this in my kirby fan fiction by the way.

General Commentfor cereals? like as a single + music video? awesome, I can't wait to see what they come up with. I watched a youtube user version with movie clips from FD + this song. It was really cool to watch.

This song is almost creepy. but it's so awesome! only irked by the "can't take it no more." haha.
