So tonight your hopes fall
And break the molds of fate
Your tear ducts run dry
You're bleeding all this paint
So take back your lies
And hold them all inside
Just tell me the truth
At least for just one night

I can't sleep at all tonight (Just look back on your life) (Your taste your touch)
It seems like strings are holding up my eyes (And realize all your friends were right) (Your face your everything)
And all this time (What were you thinking) (Your everything)
Where was your head?

Well it seems you're all wrong
'Cause nothing is ok
And your throat is inflamed
Screaming out your pain
So swallow this pill
And wash it down with pride
And no more re-writes
'Cause this is our last page

I can't sleep at all tonight (Just look back on your life) (Your taste your touch)
It seems like strings are holding up my eyes (And realize all your friends were right) (Your face your everything)
And all this time (What were you thinking) (Your everything)
Where was your head?

General CommentThe triple vocals in the chorus are awesome.

With that being said, it seems like this song is about a relationship that ended due to someone's dishonesty, and the other person is saying "no more re-writes" and that they're finally over.
