Candles glimmer
An ocean of flames
You silence my mouth
So I can feed on your pain
The slower I carve my name into your heart
The more it hurts that we're both falling apart
Within

Shades are dancing in the falling rain
If you get closer they all look the same
Glad of being the cause you sick little slut
The fucking way I feel is none of your business
Shape your fears and stop pretending
For deep inside the stream is never ending
Shatter the confusion ravaging your head
And drown with me in a world of shadows
The damage is done
And it's out of control
But pieces alone
Are as good as the whole
So shallow and black
Runs the poison within
Come taste my collapse
Until the last drop

Of memories cut
Just like razor-blades
If I close my eyes will I wake up screaming?
Frozen your touch seems like a shot to my head
So drain me down slit my soul fall to pieces
With me

Shades are dancing in the falling rain
If you get closer they all look the same
Glad of being the cause you sick little slut
The fucking way I feel is none of your business
Shape your fears and stop pretending
For deep inside the stream is never ending
Shatter the confusion ravaging your head
And drown with me in a world of shadows
The damage is done
And it's out of control
But pieces alone
Are as good as the whole
So shallow and black
Runs the poison within
Come taste my collapse
Until the last drop

General CommentThe clean singer says something after "And drown with me in a world of shadows." I just can't make it out. And at the end, he says, "The damage is done. And it's slit to the bone. But pieces alone only you can behold. So shallow and black. Runs the poison within. Come taste my collapse. Or get the fuck out!"

And the song is great. Love the way the clean singer, growled, and evil goth voices are all fused together in it. And the uniqueness of the bands keyboards, growled vocals, and awesome riffs make this band really wonderful.

This song I believe is about a person, who was in love with a girl. But she cheated on him? And now he wants the worst for her. Taste his collapse, until the last drop. Blood. Suicide. "Shades are dancing in the falling rain, if you get closer they all look the same. Glad of being the cause you sick little slut." He tried or did commit suicide. For the shades, are like being woozy, and they all look the same when you are, due to loss of blood.

The clean singer says, "And now he lives on"

For deep inside the stream is never ending
Shatter the confusion ravaging your head
And drown with me in a world of shadows
    And now he lives on

MemoryListen to the song, the missing line is the key.

"And now I feel your soul."

If tears do not bring you as close as can be, what will?

To this day he has not seen his child.

My InterpretationThis could perhaps be about cheating, or perhaps about a baby, but to me it makes the most sense for it to be about a tumultuous relationship that is falling apart.

Obviously, they both (the guy and girl) have some serious issues (probably psychologically) and these issues are what make it hard for them to be together. The girl makes him feel bad, or guilty, about what he does and says(perhaps to her) and he feels she likes making him feel this as revenge, and also that how he feels isn't anything she needs to know about. Basically, he wants her to accept him as he is or get the fuck out. Stop thinking and be with him because he wants them to be together despite everything.
