"Lead Me On" as written by and Robert S/brown Rans....
When I think too much, I say one day at a time.
I say I'll be all right, if the girl won't be mine.
I stay busy all day, and I cut loose at night.
My job pays the rent, and my friends are all right.

But I still get so lonesome when, I'm waiting for her love to begin.
Of all the things that were going so right.
What went so wrong?
It's hard enough to have to see you around, so don't lead me on.

General CommentI know exactly how he feels in this song. It's about how you know you should be feeling lucky and fortunate because nothing's neccessarily going wrong, but there's still something missing. "The girl" would make it complete, even though he'll be all right if she won't be with him.

General CommentI agree for the most part with Ah Me Audrey, but I also think that everything else is just okay. Its not great, but it's not necessarily the worse it could be. And the girl would just make everything else seem so much better. Kind of like a "finally" moment in life. He had her, she let him go and now he's just trying to figure it all out.

Griffin just keeps getting better and better!

General CommentVery simple and straight to the point.

However, I don't think he's all right. He's convincing himself that he's okay. If he were okay, it wouldn't be so hard for him to see her around.

    Love this song.
