I fell in love again
All things go, all things go
Drove to Chicago
All things know, all things know

We sold our clothes to the state
I don't mind, I don't mind
I made a lot of mistakes
In my mind, in my mind

You came to take us
All things go, all things go
To recreate us
All things grow, all things grow

We had our mindset
All things know, all things know
You had to find it
All things go, all things go

I drove to New York
In a van, with my friend
We slept in parking lots
I don't mind, I don't mind

I was in love with the place
In my mind, in my mind
I made a lot of mistakes
In my mind, in my mind

You came to take us
All things go, all things go
To recreate us
All things grow, all things grow

We had our mindset
All things know, all things know
You had to find it
All things go, all things go

If I was crying
In the van, with my friend
It was for freedom
From myself and from the land

I made a lot of mistakes
I made a lot of mistakes
I made a lot of mistakes
I made a lot of mistakes

You came to take us
All things go, all things go
To recreate us
All things grow, all things grow

We had our mindset
All things know, all things know
You had to find it
All things go, all things go

You came to take us
All things go, all things go
To recreate us
All things grow, all things grow

We had our mindset (I made a lot of mistakes)
All things know, all things know (I made a lot of mistakes)

You had to find it (I made a lot of mistakes)
All things go, all things go (I made a lot of mistakes)

I know the lyrics are basically the same as the regular ones, but in the chorus right after the bridge, there is an extra layer of vocals that I can't quite figure out. I'm pretty sure the first part is "You came to take us, If I was right or wrong I, Had my friend (van?), Along the way from things that....." Can anyone help solve this mystery for me? I can't find these lyrics ANYWHERE.

oh my, I've been trying to figure these lyrics to this beautiful melody out since July 2006, and to no avail...so help would greatly be appreciated as well.

Can someone tell me how this song differs from the original Chicago? Because I just found a version of it with a lot of guitars and clapping, and I want to be sure if it's this version or the Multiple Personality Disorder version.

The song with all of the clapping is most definitely the Multiple Personality Disorder Version.I think the biggest difference is the layered vocals after the bridge, the crazy hard to understand vocals.

This is just an attempt, since I've struggled with these for a long time, but this is what I got out of them.

    Bridge:

You came to take us (You came to take us) All things go, all things go

(If I was right or wrong I) To recreate us

(Count it now) {that might be "can't live down"?} All things grow, all things grow

(Running away from things that) We had our mindset

(can't resist) All things know, all things know.

(Show what we all can't see yet; blind and deaf.) You had to find it All things go, all things go

You came to take us (Straight from my legs to my heart)??

All things go, all things go (Take me this;)

(with what we are or all were) To recreate us (getting less;)

(running away from things that) We had our mindset (can't resist)

(All that we are can't see yet) You had to find it (Can't and won't)

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
