"On Call" as written by and Jared/followill Followill....
She said call me now baby,
And I'd come a running,
She said call me now baby,
And I'd come a running,
If you'd call me now baby,
I'd come a running

I'm on call,
To be there,
One and all
To be there,
When I fall,
To pieces,
Don't you know,
I'll be there waiting

(I'll be there)
(I'll be there)

I'm on call,
To be there,
One and all
To be there,
When I fall,
To pieces,
Don't you know,
I'll be there waiting

I'm gonna brawl
To be there,
One for all,
I'll be there,
When they fall,
To pieces,
Don't you know,
I'll be there laughing

I'll come a running,
I come a running,
I've come a running,

To be there
To be there

I'm on call
To be there

I'm on call to be there!

I'm on call
To be there

I'm on call
To be there

General CommentMy ex told me this song reminds her of me. She said it was my song. I was there for her while she was going through her break up of a 9 year relationship and a 5 year old daughter and we hooked up intimately quite a bit toward the end of her relationship. We got together quickly after and started a life together. Planned to move in and all that!!

Well I was always there for her from the beginning whenever she called me to have sex or just to talk. No matter what! She just recently left me out of the blue because she had a lot of shit on her plate. I was still there for her up until she told me that her man proposed to her the night she told me she would come back to talk with me and explain why im not the one.

she said YES to him and i dont hate her for it. it hurts but im not bitter. I would still be there for her.

    soooo

The song is probably about a guy being used for intimacy or just companionship no matter what the consequence.

Song MeaningWhat I take from this song is a man being in love with a girl who's in a relationship that's on the rocks, and when she needs a shoulder to cry on he'll "be there" and when they break up and/or "fall to pieces" he'll be there laughing because its his chance...when ever she needs him, he'll "come a running". Brilliant Song!!!

General CommentThis song is quite different from the past Kings of Leon sound, but that's what they wanted. It works though and it rocks the ass, I look forward to hearing the new album.

General CommentIs it just me or can anyone catch a glimpse of U2 in the Chorus guitar? Yea, I didn't like this song at first listen because I am still stuck on Aha Shake Heartbreak. But It has turned out to be a great song...

General CommentAfter such a great second album, when i first heard this song i fear the once great kings of leon sound may have gone. However, I've only heard it twice so maybe that sound is still there
