"Too Young To Fight It" as written by Dan Keyes and Rory Phillips....
Take a dare
Don't tell the truth
Keep this between me and you
Whispers become loud
When word of this gets out
Will the message
Cause a motion
We won't know till we get there
When the suns down
Lights come up
Friends and enemies come together

[Chorus]
Summer nights hitting
It so hard we were blisterin'
Can't keep from moving
The season is righting
We're too young to fight it
We stand united
Summer nights hitting
It so hard we're blistering
Can't stop to sleep it off

Hearts are beating to the sound
Kids are living underground

Rumors get so loud
We want to scream and shout
It's taking over now
You can't control it
You're shaking soaking wet
In the middle of the night again

Will the message
Cause a motion
We won't know till we get there
When the suns down
Lights come up
Friends and enemies come together!

[Chorus]

General CommentThis is another great song from Young Love, makes you want to dance with a sound that doesnt sound quit rock, but is still rock indeed. This song is apparently to my opinion, about a party in the summer and how everyone just wants to dance and have fun, and everyone is "too young to fight it", and how everyone just has to dance, something like that, good song anyway

General Commentpersonally i think its about partying through th summer as said abpve but also about ecsatcy or the effects of it

hitting it so hard we're blistering can't stop to sleep it off
being in tune with the music, hitting the beat, the rush it gives you and not being able to stop moving for long enough to fall asleep.

    too young to fight it
everyone is too young to fight the feeling of the pill and try and calm down so they just go along with it till it wears off, where as somneone older will try and make themselvs stop once they have had a enough

you can't control it you're shaking soaking wet in the middle of the night again .
when your rushing, you get the sweats and you cant control whats going on.

friends and enemies come together! people become more friendly when they are on them people tend tune in wwith each other and just let go of differences

hitting it so hard we're blisterin
dancing for so long and so hard hitting the beat in the sun that you have blisters on your feet from dancing and sun burn from the sun

i could be way off the mark though

General Commenti agree with thesimpleways. i would have never thought about that in a million years, but it fits perfectly to the song.

    General Commentand this part:
"keep from moving the season is righting we're too young to fight it"
    i think it should be:
"keep from moving the season is rising we're too young to fight it."

    General Comment"Shaking soaking wet"

thesimpleways, I was dancing to the song, but when I heard that line I stopped to listen. I feel the EXACT same way which is sad and a little scary. Sometimes, I don't want to understand a good dance song cause understanding it makes it less about fun..but I think you and I have this one right.
