"Energy of Death" as written by and Andrew Whiteman Julian Brown....
In the rhythm of this song,
Well we drink and fucking fight when we bring it on

Prayer, that some might answered you
But your lips are red, girl, they know what to do

Powerful grace there's a fight he's so devout
There's a waterfall of sewage from his mouth

You, children of this dying earth
Our possessions and our money have no worth

All the gods are driving us in ways
We do not understand
All the gods are driving us in ways
We do not understand
Do not understand

Calm us of our drug delivery
Well we vowed to end our mother's misery
Wind that fills the world with bitch's breath
You know that it's called the energy of death

All the gods are driving us in ways
We do not understand
All the gods are driving us in ways
We do not understand
All the gods are driving us in ways
We do not understand
We do not understand

General CommentNo comments? I Love this song! It's so lively.
I guess it could mean that you should enjoy life as it is because you have no control of what happens... death and everything else will happen in your life and you should accept it as it is, even if you might not understand at the time.

General CommentI think the "energy of death" refers to the motions of the world which dictate that we all die. It is like gravity, in that it is a law/principle that is part of the world.

The best line is "You, the children of this dying earth//Our posessions and our money have no worth". The song is really about life as much as death, in that, everything is completely mysterious to us while we are still here on earth, and maybe just as mysterious after we leave it. The only thing that is for certain is that we are born and we leave everything here behind us when we die. And so nothing really matters at all. That's a green light to do nothing while we are here because everything is insignificant. That's also a green light to do everything before you die since you should be grateful you have the senses to percieve this world we live in, and to live so prosperously. What are the odds we are alive at this precise moment in this universe?

General CommentLovely song, yes, but the lyrics here are for the most part -way- off. The above was probably transcribed, by ear. From the CD booklet, here are the lyrics, copied verbatim:

In the rhythm of this song
we drink we fuck & we fight we bring it on

    Prayer is samba & surdu
her lips are red, they know what to do

Prophet waves his flag, he's so devout
there's a waterfall of sewage from his mouth

The children of the dying earth
our possessions & our money have no worth

All the gods are driving us in ways we do not understand

    Promise of a drug delivery
we vowed to end our mothers misery

A wind that fills the world with bitches' breath is call the energy of death
