Natalia Avelon:
Strawberries, cherries and an angel's kiss in spring
My summer wine is really made from all these things

Ville Valo:
I walked in town on silver spurs that jingled to
A song that I had only sang to just a few
She saw my silver spurs and said, Let's pass some time
And I will give to you summer wine, Oh-oh summer wine

Natalia Avelon:
Strawberries cherries and an angel's kiss in spring
My summer wine is really made from all these things
Take off your silver spurs and help me pass the time
And I will give to you summer wine, Oh-oh summer wine

Ville Valo:
My eyes grew heavy and my lips they could not speak
I tried to get up, but I couldn't find my feet
She reassured me with an unfamiliar line
And then she gave to me more summer wine,
Oh-oh summer wine

Natalia Avelon:
Strawberries cherries and an angel's kiss in spring
My summer wine is really made from all these things
Take off your silver spurs and help me pass the time
And I will give to you summer wine Oh-oh summer wine

Ville Valo:
When we woke up the sun was shining in my eyes
My silver spurs were gone my head felt twice its size
She took my silver spurs, a dollar and a dime
And left me cravin' for more summer wine,
Oh-oh summer wine
Oh-oh. Oh-oh Oh-oh Oh-oh

Natalia Avelon:
Strawberries cherries and an angel's kiss in spring
My summer wine is really made from all these things
Take off your silver spurs and help me pass the time
And I will give to you summer wine Oh-oh summer wine

General CommentA wonderful duet (the original is by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood, I haven't heard it so far)... I love both voices, which are totally different. It is recorded for a new German movie ("Das wilde Leben"), but it sounds would also be a perfect James Bond song. I've noticed that a part of the James Bond Theme appears at the end of the song. Only four tones, twice. It sounds totally the same. The next Bond should be called Summer Wine!

General Commentyes...this may be a different type of song for ville, but i think it is beautifully done. it's always good to step out of the box or comfort zone every once in a while and do something different that no one would expect and see what else you can do with your talent. and this is a perfect example...it shows how ville's voice is versatile and that his voice can fit into many types of genres of music...good for him.

General Commenthehehehe...i bet ville was laughing at himself after this. Don't get me wrong I like it. It is cool, but it is just differant and strange. like villes alter ego or doppelganger did it. weird.

General CommentThis is such an awesome cover, I love Ville's voice in it.

If it's not obvious, it's about a guy who meets a girl at a saloon and she tells him to join her, gets him drunk on wine, and steals his valuables. Really nice sounding song... good for karaoke duets!
