"Kill All Your Friends" as written by and Frank Iero Bob Bryar....
Well you can hide a lot about yourself
But honey, what are you gonna do?
And you can sleep in a coffin
But the past ain't through with you

'Cause we are a bunch of liars
Tell me baby who do you wanna be?
And we are all about to sell it
'Cause it's tragic with a capital T
Let it be, let it be, let it be!

'Cause we all wanna party when the funeral ends
And we all get together when we bury our friends
It's been 8 bitter years since I've been seeing your face
And you're walking away
And I will die in this place

Sometimes you scrape and sink so low
I'm shocked at you're capable of
And if this a coronation
I ain't feeling the love

'Cause we're all a bunch of animals
That never payed attention in school
So tell me all about your problems
I was killing before killing was cool
You're so cool, you're so cool

'Cause we all wanna party when the funeral ends
And we all get together when we bury our friends
It's been 9 bitter years since I've been seeing your face
And you're walking away
And I will die in this place

You'll never take me alive, you'll never take me alive
Do what it takes to survive cause I'm still here
You'll never get me alive, you'll never take me alive
Do what it takes to survive cause I'm still here

You'll never take alive, you'll never get me alive
Do what it takes to survive cause I'm still here
You'll never get me [GET ME!], you'll never take me [take me!]
You'll never get me alive

'Cause we all wanna party when the funeral ends
And we all get together when we bury our friends
It's been 10 fucking years since I've been seeing your face round here
And you're walking away
And I will drown in the fear.

General CommentThis song is my favorite off the B-sides.
MCR is my favorite band IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, I love them so much, and they inspired me to become a writer since I always would come up with stories based around their songs.
I wrote a short story about this song, and it was about a young man whose childhood friends abandoned him for other people, and turned against him.
So later in his life when he was in college he gets in with a few of his old friends, and by this time he has new friends and such, who were also abandoned by their friends.
So they come up with a plan, and slowly start killing off all of these people who've done them wrong in the past, and it ends with only this young man who kills ALL of his friends (even the ones who were also betrayed) and he gets chased down by the police until they corner him in a cemetery, where he has a gun in his hand and he shoots himself as they're about to arrest him.
So basicly the story is about becoming obbessed over revenge and such, and going to far into that in stead of forgetting about the people who've done you wrong and go on with your own life.

General Commenti only had to listen to this song once to basically get the jist of what its about... placin the name of the song with the lyrics the song is about someone who was in love with antother probably in highschool or somethin and they are able to see that person again for the first time in years when they are re-united at a mutual friends funeral.. when the funeral ends that person has to watch the other walk out there life again after the funeral... they figure that the only way for them to see this other again is after the death of another friend.. hints the name "kill all your friends"

General Commentit pretty much reminds me of "teenagers"!!!!.... i'm not really sure about the meaning of this song.

So tell me all about your problems
I was killing before killing was cool
You’re so cool, you’re so cool

i think these lines sound like he's referring to the "emo-trend" or however you call it :D

General CommentSame with me, was gonna post lyrics but i think Red Hotel did a very good job! I don't get the deal really, but since it's called Kill All Your Friends, i believe he in the chorus means like Yeah kill them all so we can arrange this big party! Maybe it seems to him like that's the way this girl thinks.

But i dont have a good explanation of the song, i admit. Good one though, like all the others;)
Does anyone know if this is supposed to be a part of the story about the Patient, too?

    *YOU'LL NEVER GET ME ALIVE*
