We were just standin there
Two kids who didn't care
I saw you get lifted away

We were two little boys
Abducted by the noise
They didn't care if you were destroyed

But I got a feelin
That I can't, no I can't shake away
That maybe, just maybe you were healin
And didn't need your brain novocaine

Papa was smoking grass
He hit, I always passed
But you had pain runnin in your veins

They sat you in a chair
Prescription held you there
You must have thought livin was unfair

General Commenti think its about the two brothers who make up two of the three members of RHD and how they grew up in a household where there father did a lot of drugs and maybe their mother as well and the song is about how they overcame their predisposition to those drugs...im not sure if they really did live in that sort of household but im pretty sure thats what the song is about
