There’s no place I’d rather be
Than with you right next to me
Huddled up under my umbrella
Though the rain keeps falling down
I never see you frown
You’re always up for any type of weather

Ba ba ba ba ba
April showers

It’s soaking to the bone
We should have stayed at home
I don’t care as long as we’re together
Or we’ll stay in instead
Laying in our bed
We don’t have to get up till never

Ba ba ba ba ba
April showers
April showers
Meet me here this time next year

There’s no place I’d rather be
Than with you right next to me
Huddled up under my umbrella
Though the rain keeps falling down
I never see you frown
You’re always up for any type of weather

Ba ba ba ba ba
April showers
April showers
April showers
Meet me here this time next year

General CommentLike most of their songs, it's very cute. Just a cute song about a couple. She likes to walk in rain, and he doesn't mind either, since she seems to enjoy it so much. i think that's one of the only things in this song that's not obvious that should be pointed out. He doesn't like going out in the rain, and even thinks they should have stayed at home. However, I think this was only a passing thought he kept to himself. He doesn't care, as long as he's with her.

I'm not sure about the "meet me here this time next year" means. maybe they aren't a couple, maybe this is just a girl he met on vacation. Someone he doesn't see often, but wants to see her again next year? I dunno. Either way, it's a good song.
