It's nights like these
that we forget about everything
that you've ever done

you are the barrel between my teeth
the blood stains on the sheets
your everything I need
your everything I need

Tonight's the night
we'll set this on fire
right before your eyes
This time we'll get it right

It's days like these that we loose all hope
But the best is yet to come
And I know we're better off
we're better off alone

Tonight's the night
we'll set this on fire
right before your eyes
This time we'll get it right

Tonight's the night
we'll set this on fire
right before your eyes
This time we'll get it right

The nighttime is our time
The nighttime is our time

Tonight's the night
we'll set this on fire
right before your eyes
This time we'll get it right
Tonight's the night
we'll set this on fire
right before your eyes
This time we'll get it right

General CommentGenerally, it looks like that they are confessing that they have made mistakes in life, and they want to let God know that they still believe and love him and they repent for thei sins.
"It's days like these that we loose all hope

    We're better off alone
I think in that part, they are saying some days the world just takes them away from God, including people. Ex,: people that constantly break commandments and turn away from God. But they still love our heavenly father and that they're better off alone without other people, and just live under God's love.
