the commentary is traveling for you
with the color analyst who kept me looking through.
with a cocktail drawl, i am a sinker
and a pump fake mouth you were a reacher

uh oh, uh oh, this trophy is for hire.
and uh oh, uh oh, these nights are tired of trying.

we're living on borrowed nights
these lakes are not oceans,
trees are not forests
and you're renting wanderers to dance in tinted windows,
use our feet for us.

General Commentlife is spelled out. there is no creativity, no spice, hardly orginal. finds himself in a bar, drunk, listening to someone else drone on about something insignificant.
he will be different and worthwhile in a land of mundaninity(word?)
just because you take a trip to see a lake, or see some trees in a park, you are only renting from something that is given freely.
figure life out for yourself, explore new places, don't mistaken these things for something they are not, cause they are much more. life is short, enjoy what you can while you can
