"You Decide" as written by and Phillip "phee" Shorb (19949) Scott "skidd" Mills....
Fiction and reality collide
Faceless and so busted up inside
You've been searching you've been crying out
Will you be destroyed by all your doubt?

You decide, who will you run to?
Wrong or right, there is no reason for you to hide
Only love can change your life
Only love can change your life, you decide

God is calling out to you again
Let Him pull you, let Him take you in
From the fear that swallows up your life
Will you stay the same or will you fight

Every day you hold on to your lonely broken heart
It's tearing you apart
God is calling out to you just let healing start
Will you open up and let Him in

General CommentIt's our decision to accept God. We can run into His love or stay away, ultimately it is God's desire for us to come as He calls us. Deciding to follow Him will heal us and we can change our lives.

General CommentYep. Pretty much believing in God...deciding who you will turn to guide your life...God or someone/thing else. It IS a christian band, what do you expect?

General CommentI saw this amazing drama to this song at a youth retreat called Resurrection! At the beginning, there was this girl who was lost and she found a Bible, and Satan kept telling her, "Lost soul, put the book down!" It was really creepy, but it was awesome!

Song MeaningIn one interview with them, Dawn (the lead singer) said that it wasn't about deciding between God and something so much as it was just deciding who God is to you... Because so many christian bands force the "follow MY God" message down your throat, they wanted all people to be able to connect with the song, regardless of whether they believe exactly what the band believes or not, because ultimately it's entirely up to the individual. =]
