One more rainy day serenade
And I tend to fall apart
When the summer shatters recklessly
Into masterpieces and melodies
About the day she broke his heart
Into a million missing pieces...

About the day she broke his heart
Into a million missing pieces...

Well so much for the sunset,
I tell myself the clouds
Would not be here if you were.
And so much for forever;
Forever's almost never
What we make it out to be.

One more ever-after will fade
And our friendship falls apart
When your letters yellow helplessly
Into folds and creases and memories
And memories and memories and memories

And so much for the sunset,
I tell myself the clouds
Would not be here if you were.
And so much for forever;
Forever's almost never
What we make it out to be [x2]

So much for the sunset maybe
So much for forever baby [x2]

I tell myself
That the clouds
Would not be here if you were [x2]

But they are...
They will be...
She won't...

Yeah they are...
And you aren't...
And they will be...
And you won't... [x3]

So much for the sunset maybe
So much for forever baby [x2]

Yeah they are...
And you aren't...
And they will be...
And you won't... [x3]

[You never are
You never were to me]

[Now they are
And you aren't
And they will be
But you won't]

[And now it's over
And I see
The bridges worth burning
And now it's over
And I see
The bridges worth burning]

[all fading]

General Commentwhy has nobody commented this song?
    i really like this song
    its kinda sad

pretty much about a guy who had his heart broken by a girl
and then he still loved her
    and now he's moved on
and seen that the bridges were worth burning
    haha
    yeah, its all kinda obvious
    :D
