My trigger finger loves to hate me
Takes to the knife for a vivisection
X kilograms of flesh to shave off
Taste like a replicant injection

Soul rot
In stock
Buy now
It's hot

Runt of
The batch
All itch
No scratch

[Fuck fashion
Fuck, fuck the fashion
Suck my addiction
Cause you got to

Fuck fashion
Fuck, fuck the fashion
Spit out victims
Fashion fuck you]

Bitch poured into a velvet corset
Feeling the pinch of a cunt eat cunt world
Pig auctioned to the highest looser
Cling wrapped in latex suck it in sow

Soul rot
In stock
Buy now
It's hot

Genome
Throw back
All itch
No scratch

[CHORUS 2x]

Shut up; assimilate
Redundant shelf life
Dead mass of putrid faction
Spoon fed somaclones

Bleeding square eyes
Cradle to the grave
On corporate venom

Soul rot
In stock
Buy now
It's hot

Runt of
The batch
All itch
No scratch

[CHORUS 2x]

General CommentHave you ever noticed how the lead vocalist (female) is well .. more or less the same version of "sow" that she refers to in this song ... i think it's kind of hypocritical

General CommentThis song I believe is about the overwhelming need to conform and be fashionable. Selling ourselves to corporate industries. "Takes to the knife for a vivisection." is a clear indication of the scientific and analytical mindset that governs our fashion industry. Vivisection's are dissections usually performed on animals for scientific purposes, and this translates into human society on a more materialistic scale.

"X kilograms of flesh to shave off," is one reference to media's portrayal of a fuckable being. In fact the usage of the phrase, "Fuck Fashion" can be interpreted in many ways in some ways it seems as though Angelspit sing the phrase as though society actually does fuck fashion, and engages with it so frequently that they see little else. Other times, it seems that it's an outcry against fashion, telling it to fuck off. Interesting. :)

General CommentA person whose deprived love of chaos causes him to take hold of destructive ideas and make them appealing to the masses, a gift for identifying opportunities and taking advantage of them in a bad way, Embracing tried and tested methods, and possessing an innate mis-understanding of the material reality. A philanthropist and devotee of both luxury and dishonorable work, whose word is as good as shit. One who lusts for power, for beauty, for vanity, and of course, sex. Could be compared to A charming seducer who appears innocent and understanding, but is in fact selfish and unfaithful. Losing control of your identity, and true self, Being surrounded by sycophants and shallow admirers, A flood of false opportunities and people who see you as a vehicle for their own ambitions.

    General Commentthis song,
in my humble opinion is about eating disorders and the overwhelming need to be thin and attractive.

    "taste like a replicant injection"
i am guessing means that everyone has some sort of problem with the way they look, so they try to look like the media's portrayal of perfect,
    hence replicating it :]

but basically, it seems that this song is about how people think that there is something wrong with the way they look, and how they desperately try to fix it, to be considered perfect.

General CommentThey're talking about fashion and conformity. Some lines obviously speak of plastic surgery, such, 'X kilograms to shave off.' They're saying someone's getting a tummy tuck. Personally, I agree with Angelspit. There are too many things in the world that are supposed to make us 'gorgeous.' People tell us there's something wrong with the way we look, so we buy a miracle cure-all potion of sorts, pour it on, and hope to be made beautiful
It also mocks style. It's saying that we can't be mindless sheep and wear what we're told. We don't have to be anorexic size-zeros to be perfect, and we don't have to wear T-shirts for performers we don't like just because they're in style. We can listen to our own music and wear what we want to, basically.
