"Street lights" as written by Kyle Falconer and Kieren Webster....
Take your like in your own hands
Walk down the street looking over your shoulder
Who will you meet?

An it's a big crowd tonight
Look at the street lights
It's a big crowd tonight
Look at the street lights
Look at the street lights, what a pretty sight

You say that you love me
You say that you don't
You try to get me to jump through that hoop
But I won't

I'd like to move city
I'd like to move town
'Cause all you ignorant people, you're bringin me down

General CommentThe song is about Kieran, the bass player. Some guy jumped off a scrambler (motorbike), when he was walkin out in Dundee, and stabbed him a few years ago.

"Look at the streetlights" is him lying bleeding before he got help and made it to the hospital!

General Commenti thought it was ''You try to get me to jump through your hoop but i won't'' instead of ''You try to give me the chance But you hope that I won't''...and i beleive i'm right x

General CommentThis is my favourite song on the album, but I honestly had no idea that was what the song was about. xDD Oh god, that's horrible.

General CommentThe lyric about ignorant people is a rip off of 'Time For Heroes' by The Libertines who are probably The View's main influence and insparation.

General Commentbut in time for heroes the line is "Its these ignorant faces that bring this town down" but yeah it's pretty close, and the view re definently influenced by the libertines. but i'd say that's a damn good influence to have.

General CommentAnd here he's saying he wants to move town because in that town he's being brought down because of the ignorant people, so it means the same thing as in Time For Heroes and sounds very similar. But that won't stop me loving this song or the band!
