"Penguin" as written by and David Gross Collin Ruffino....
I'm getting stupid sitting here
Waiting for the light to change
Shadows rearrange

My brain is dull, I'm holding on
We need to break these walls down
Need to finish seeing

If I could fly a million miles
Could not keep me down
Swim the endless suction
Just need you around

If I could fly a million miles
Could not keep me down
Swim the endless suction
Just need you around

I'm going crazy stuck in here
Am I made of bigger things
A body big as dreams

My voice is empty without you
Let me sing to you
All our played out love songs

I feel the size of an empty bed
How will I find you?
How will I find you?

I feel the size of an empty bed
How will I find you?
How will I find you?

I feel the size of an empty bed
How will I find you?
How will I find you?

I feel the size of an empty bed
How will I find you?
How will I find you?

I feel the size of an empty bed
How will I find you?
How will I find you?

I feel the size of an empty bed
How will I find you?
How will I find you?

General CommentI love this song. Absolutely love it.

But I'm not sure about some of the lyrics because he sounds like he slurs some of the words in the chorus and the last line of the second verse.

I have no idea what it means but I love it. lol

General CommentHe just went through a breakup. He feels stuck in the same place( waiting for something to change). The shadows rearrange.

He wants to get away from it all, he feels empty with her gone. The memories of her are still present in his mind.

    Hes discovering himself again.

General Commentheathereve I think you pretty much nailed, but a there's a bit. He realizes he may have potential with out her (Am I made of bigger things/A body big as dreams) but still feels empty with out her. No matter what he does or how far he goes, he still needs her. He still wants to find her (in his bed, of couse).
It's a pretty intense "I miss you" break up song.

General CommentI don't know if the song is particularly about a break-up. I think it's more about loneliness and the overwhelming desire to find someone to love and who will love him.
