There are times in the summer, lying next to you
When I swore I knew what we were born to do
That was youth and part of its beauty

I'm a lucky soul to have these memories
I will always hold them as a part of me
Live your life, I hope you find meaning

Love is always true
Past through but I'm always a part of you
Past through and you broke my heart
Past through but on the way you taught me
To remember who we are when we're apart

And the future is there, it's right in front of me
But How does one prepare for that which he can't see?
Close your eyes, you'll find it within yourself

And I know you're scared, you lack security
And you're unprepared to let go completely
But in time, you'll see that I'm with you

Love is always true
Past through but I'm always a part of you
Past through and you broke my heart
Past through but on the way you taught me
To remember who we are when we're apart

I'll love you til the end
I'll love you til the sun burns out
And you learn how a friend
Is more than time you spent
It's more than time could never mend
Time will never mend this

Past through but I'm always a part of you
Past through and you broke my heart
Past through but on the way you taught me
To remember who we are when we're apart

General Commentwow. so much meaning to this song. it's about someone who knows who he wants to be with forever but realizes that "time will never mend this". She broke his heart, but he will still love her forever. People often say that they never really loved someone after they break up because they are hurt, this song goes against that. Ronnie is saying that "love is always true" and that if you loved someone, even if they hurt you, you still loved them and that will always stay with you. When you love, it is a pure feeling - it is true. You can't fake love.
