"California (Phantom Planet cover)" as written by Alexander Greenwald, Jason Schwartzmann, B G De Sylva, Al Jolson and Joseph Meyer....
We've be on the run
Driving in the sun
Looking out for number one
California, here we come
Right back where we started from

Hustlers grab your guns
The shadow weighs a ton
Driving down the 101
California, here we come
Right back where we started from

California
Here we come

On the stereo
Listen as we go
Nothings gonna stop me now
California, here we come
Right back where we started from

Peddle to the floor
Thinking of you more
Gotta get us to the show
California, here we come
Right back where we started from

California
Here we come

California
California
Here we come

General CommentMates of State is more my style than Phantom Planet, so I'll always prefer their cover (which I first heard on This American Life; Ira Glass said that The OC was his favorite show) but it's a great song either way.
