naive little pieces of
what they tried to teach her
quiet and protected
slightly anorexic

(She Waits)
she's a time bomb, with her vibe on
she's gonna use it and surprise them
she's a time bomb, with her vibe on
they'll never know where she got her weapon.

they really don't believe her
she keeps it all a secret
found the Golden Muses
doesn't need to prove it

(She Waits)
she's a time bomb, with her vibe on
she's gonna use it and surprise them
she's a time bomb, with her vibe on
they'll never know where she got her weapon.

naive little pieces
she thought that they could see her
but soon the Desert Pigs will know
she's holding in an arsenal.

(She Waits)
she's a time bomb, with her vibe on
she's gonna use it and surprise them
she's a time bomb, with her vibe on
they'll never know where she got her weapon.

She Waits.

General CommentThis song is way before it's time. So original the band broke up after this CD cuz no one was ready for this girls arsenal of voice modifications and dreamy emotional almost depressing and inspirational metal.

General CommentThis song is about a girl who is mad at someone or a group of people or perhaps the world and she waits to exact her revenge. She sits there, cold and calculating, waiting for the opportune moment, and they don't believe her and that she will get back at them. Like:
    "quiet and protected
    slightly anorexic"
I think she's spending time just plotting her revenge and perhaps forgets to eat.
    "(She Waits)
she's a time bomb, with her vibe on
she's gonna use it and surprise them
she's a time bomb, with her vibe on
they'll never know where she got her weapon."
She waits to get revenge till the perfect time, she's waiting to explode and thing's are going her way. She's going to have her revenge one day and it will surprise them. They won't know where she got her weapon is like they won't know how she got back at them so bad.
    "they really don't believe her
she keeps it all a secret
    found the Golden Muses
    doesn't need to prove it"
PErhaps she's told them she will get back, but they don't believe that it will happen, that she's all talk.
She's found inspiration and perhaps is getting what she needs to get back at them, and she doesn't need to flaunt it, she's just going to get them without warning.
    "naive little pieces
she thought that they could see her
but soon the Desert Pigs will know
    she's holding in an arsenal."
She thought they understood that she was going to get revenge, but they really couldn't because they are too naive, but soon they will know she has sat quietly and gathered up all she needs to get back at them big time and she has an arsenal of ways to get back now and soon she will.

I don't know, I could be wrong, but it's my take on the song.

General CommentThis one strikes me as being a feminist anthem. It's about a woman who is smart (the Golden Muse) and powerful but the "Desert Pig" men controlling society are too "naive" to identify that she is powerful (a time bomb). She's got her "vibe on" in the sense that she's in excited or in touch with the higher knowledge. She'll blow them away with her powers of insight and ability to accomplish. In the end, "she waits" probably indicating inaction for one reason or another, ironically perhaps out of fear of judgment.

My Interpretationnaive little pieces of what they tried to teach her - she has had a religious education and is very sheltered in what she is taught, just learning about islam.
she is oppressed and eats only a little in order to take up less space.
the question is, is she the naive one or are they?
if she is the naive one, the golden muses that give her hope are fatima and female suicide bombers that she reads about. her plan to escape her dreary life and inevitable marriage is to become a glorious martyr for islam. She literally is a ticking time bomb, and she will simultaneously escape the Desert Pigs while still pleasing them because they have messed her mind up so that she still feels loyal to them. Ex. Wafa Idris, Zainab Abu Salem.
if she is not the naive one, she has learned that there is a world beyond Islam where she can be a real person, probably through the internet. The Golden Muses are things people she finds on the internet that give her inspiration, probably women. Her arsenal is her mind, and she is plotting her escape to another country, beyond the reach of the Desert Pigs. There she will someone like Ayaan Hirsi Ali, or Malala Yousefzai

General CommentWhy are Desert Pigs and Golden Muses capitalized?
I really would like to know what she was thinking when she wrote this.
