Mmm

Ever since I was a baby girl, I had a dream
Cinderella theme
Crazy as it seems
Always knew that deep inside that there would come that day
But I would have to wait
Make so many mistakes
I couldn't comprehend
As I watched it unfold
This classic story told, I left it in the cold
Walking through un-open doors that led me back to you
Each one unlocking more of the truth
I finally stopped tripping on my youth
I finally got lost inside of you
I finally know I needed to grow
And finally my mate has met my soul

Finally
Now my destiny can begin
Though we will have our differences
Something strange and new is happening
Finally
Now my life doesn't seem so bad
It's the best that I've ever had
Give my love to him finally

Mmm

I remember the beginning you already knew
I acted like a fool
Just trying to be cool
Frontin' like it didn't matter
I just ran away
Put on another face
Was lost in my own space
Found what it's like to hurt selfishly
I was scared to give up me
Afraid to just believe
I was in a jealous, insecure, pathetic place
Stumbled through the mess that I had made
Finally got out of my own way
I finally started living for today
I finally know I needed to grow
And finally my mate has met my soul

Finally
Now my destiny can begin
Though we will have our differences
Something strange and new is happening
Finally
Now my life doesn't seem so bad
It's the best that I've ever had
Give my love to him finally

Mmm

Finally, finally

Finally
Now my destiny can begin
Though we will have our differences
Something beautiful is happening, is happening
Finally
Now my life doesn't seem so bad
It's the best that I've ever had
Give my love to him finally

Oh
Finally, finally
Finally

Normally a song like this would typically relate to a love being found but I see it as a girl journey in finding God within her. If you look at it out of the context of love, I think it makes perfect sense. But anyway, I think this is one of Fergie's decent songs (no spelling necessary) and lyrical wise, it actually pretty good. Big girls don't cry is still definitely my favorite.

This song can defenetly relate to god. But from a personal experience. I believe this song is about her searching for that cinderella story and when she finally found it she couldn't believe it came true so she left (it in the cold) knowing what she had was good she felt it was too good to be true ...(how could she find her cinderella story so fast so quick?). she ran away on a journey to see if there was something better (selfishly) and found out what it was like to be hurt.."maybe a guy who treated her wrong" (proving herself wrong)..for what she had found was really her (soulmate)....so her journey led her right back to him......(her cinderella story)....so now that she knows that she needed to grow....finally now her journey is complete...finally she can give her love to him....finally(because when she walked out that door to find nothing(she admits in the song she made some mistakes)...she now knows it was him all along)....

It could also mean her getting back with him and having difficulties because she knows she did something wrong for leaving him with no reason(connected to "big girls don't cry)....(Fair tails don't always have a happy ended do they?...and I forsake the dark ahead if I stay!).....

When she left him in the cold and came back to him.....there was a lot of mess to clean up..."stumbling through the mess that I have made"......

And when her and him finally cleared the issues...she can finnaly see.....her destiny can begin

Basicly about a girl who made a mistake unpurposely just following her heart and made some mistakes along her way....maybe hurt some people admitting to it.....and finally realized what she needed was right in front of her in the beginning..

People if you have something goood no matter what....even if u think someone can love u better hold on to it tight and never let it go...if sumone better is out there leave it in gods hands!!!.....peace.

I agree with the above. It's about a girl who's insecure, selfish, and afraid to love. Then she finds out, after soul searching, that what she had was good for her all along and now she's in a better place to love her man.

This and "Big Girls Don't Cry" remind me of my ex-girlfriend who left for Indiana pretty recently. She was having a bad time in LA, but once she got there she kept telling me she missed me. Now she's there working stuff out for herself.

one correction in the lyrcs - its not 'though it will have a different set' its actually 'though we will have our differences' :)

the song could be about god like everyone said, or it could be about how her life is 'finally' falling into place, things are starting to go right for her, and she's living her life the right way (i've finally started living for today)n she's met the one that helped make it happen. just my thought. peace x

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
