    Song MeaningThis song is a reply to an equally titled older song praising the troops going to war. The song is a sort of anti-war statement that denies the praise or glory of those going to war, instead stating there is no pride or glory in war. It's a bit of a peace anthem, based on reversing an older song that was somehow praising the military. The song is definitely intended as an anti-war song.
