My body is still reeling from last nights fun and games.
I can't remember too much - think i'm gonna be sick again.
Painkillers just aren't working, the room won't stop it's spin.
Only one way to stop this, go to sleep or drink again!

Stuck inbetween these four walls, no work, no hope, no chance.
The fourty quid they give me doesn't improve my circumstance.
Stuck inbetween these four walls, watching people walk past.
I find the answers to my problems in the bottom of a glass.

In my room, I feel safe.

When I see you down / out I don't say,
"Get a job you lazy slob, some work for honest pay"
You look down on me like you're something great,
But you're wrong - I'll find my own way.
Society...conformity...your systems great at killing millions everyday.
I'm not alone when I shout this out, it's true.
We don't want to be a part of you!

In control but gone tomorrow,
We don't want you lies and greed.
Our beliefs will make us stronger,
We will find the truth our way.
