Shut me out completely,
That would not be such a sin.
Lock up every entry,
Make sure that there’s no way for me to get in
Won’t try to pry them open,
Never mind knock upon your doors.
Truth is that there’s no reason for me to even see your face anymore.

But I need you ears and I need them now I’ve got something to say,
I’m not here today to win you back just to remind you that.

Sure as the rain starts to fall,
Yes I’ll always remember you dear.
And though we don’t talk anymore.
I was crazy for you; yes I was crazy for you, that’s for sure.

Nothings ever easy, I think we both know that it’s true.
I was convinced you loved me, and I was pretty sure that I loved you too,
When was our final moment whats your favourite might have beens.
When was my fatal error that changed the way you thought of me ever since.

Cos I made you smile and I made you laugh, i made nice gestures and surprised you enough?
But I made you come, but I made you cry,
I wish this was true but I’m not gonna lie.

So sure as the rain starts to fall,
Yes I’ll always remember you close
And though we don’t touch anymore.
I was crazy for you; I’m still crazy for you, that’s for sure.
Still crazy for you, still crazy for you, still crazy for you.

General CommentI love this song soo much.
    Means so much to me.
Especially right now. I know in my mind EXACTLY what it means and how he feels.

And it's quite bittersweet in a way.
It's moving on from an ended relationship, saying that you're not blaming the other person if they "shut you out completely".

You understand why they would, but you just want them to listen to you just one last time so you can tell them how much you loved them and how much they meant to you, but you never had the courage to say that to them at the time. And now you completely realise how much you did cause it's taken away from you.

It's a love that will never end. It will still be there deep inside you, but you forget about it; you bury it under and hide it in a corner because you can't correct your mistakes or take back what had happened.

    It's hard.

General CommentDear "left hand side x",

    OH MY GOD!
It happened to me the same! But with another song, with Last Request... a minute before listening to it I asked to a prsn that "last request"!!! Exactly what Paolo sings in it... gosh... I almost fainted...

    Paolo, I LOVE YOU!!!

    Ciao,
    Roby (Italy).

General CommentI love this song and agree with a lot of what left hand side said but to further elaborate on what I personally take away from this song...

I think it is about a past relationship that left an indelible mark on his life. He is telling the girl (whether they ended their relationship yesterday or 5 years ago) that he understands that it's over but she will always be special to him and there will always be those feelings there. It's beautifully written.

Despite her having no interest in him anymore he still loves her and is willing to accept what it is.

He writes the best songs that most people can relate to in one way or another.

General CommentThis is one of my most favourite songs of all time. I love it. I, like burdman, could listen to it every day. He sings with such emotion!! It's about how in love with this person he is and always will be. They had a relationship that for whatever reason ended. Maybe a spur of the moment break up? "When was my fatal error.. that changed the way u thought of me ever since".. in other words the break up ended with him not knowing what exactly he did wrong and he has much regret. He's remembering how much he loved her and he ALWAYS will. He was crazy in love. He's forever trying to replace the gap she has left in his life. That noone will ever compare to her and every time he thinks of her, he's reminded of the good times and how "crazy" he was for her.
    Anyway, thats my take! :)
    AMAZING song... i loveeeeeeeee it.
